Dundee Cycle Hub Launching Summer 2021!

We are thrilled to announce the next evolution of our project!

In March 2020 Angus Cycle Hub CIC was awarded the tender for delivery of the new Active Travel Hub in Dundee by Dundee City Council. Our new project will combine our love for all things cycling with a cafe, retail , service and community centre. It will be based at a new state of the art building at Waterfront Place, Dundee, beside the world famous V&A Museum and is due to open Summer 2021!

The building is being funded via Scottish Government Low Carbon Travel & Transport funding and Angus Cycle Hub is working with Dundee City Council and a range of national organisations and funding partners including The Energy Savings Trust and Cycling Scotland to help realise the project.

Dundee Cycle Hub is a not for profit social enterprise whose aim is to support Dundee residents and visitors to cycle and stay active. We aim to promote Active Travel and Cycling as a fun way to staying mentally and physically fit while reducing short car journeys. This in turn helps to reduce carbon emissions and air pollution at a local level!

The new Hub will provide a range of community focused activities including a new shopping and eating experience, employment training, volunteering opportunities, cycle rental and tours, bike maintenance classes, entertainment and community engagement activities on a city wide basis.

If you would like to be kept up to date or have any queries relating to the project please fill in our dedicated enquiry form HERE.
